This study investigates the barriers rural family physicians face in implementing best practice recommendations for secondary stroke prevention. A workshop was developed to increase awareness and identify these barriers, such as miscommunications with health districts and role conflicts. The findings suggest that improved communication and collaboration can enhance the implementation of these recommendations.
