Content Summary

This study compares the health status of elderly populations in rural and urban Manitoba. It finds that while rural seniors report similar self-rated health to their urban counterparts, they experience slightly higher impairment in basic daily activities. However, rural seniors express greater satisfaction with their health, which should be considered in healthcare planning.
